Design Style: A Natural Point of View

Design trends come and go but one thing stays true, our love for inviting the natural energy of the outdoors into our residential projects. Bringing the outdoors in can be done literally through sustainable and eco-friendly materials or it can be more abstract where we create windows to allow light to pour into your home. When it comes to having a natural point of view, here are a few ways we incorporate natural elements into our interior design style.

Warm Color Palettes

We are based in Coral Gables, Florida where the sun shines most of the year. Our design style is influenced by the illuminating sunshine, the vibrant blues of the Atlantic and the green hues on the swaying palms, however, Bianca True likes to incorporate warm color palettes into her designs to create a warm, welcoming ambiance. Colors like terra-cotta and Hot Chocolate as well as materials like rich suede, neutral linen, gold finishes and warm woods embrace a natural color palette while creating depth and interest.

Bold Branches & Floral Accents

Bold, statement branches along with dried grasses and real florals throughout your home invite the serene outdoor landscape indoors. Bianca True sources interesting ceramics, vases and planters rooted in a neutral palette to put your florals on display. The perfect statement on a shelf, dining table or in the corner nook of your living spaces, trees, flowers and bold branches add natural dimension to a room.

Design for the Senses

When it comes to the outdoors, what makes you feel the most relaxed? By getting to know your unique lifestyle and tastes, True Designs incorporates natural elements that exude serenity to you. For some, that may be a walk along the beach feeling the ocean breeze and natural sunshine on your face or a day well-spent at the park under the shady oak trees while listening to live music. We like to re-create intimate nooks and cozy spaces within your home through mindful space planning as well as natural design elements that comfort your senses.

Intentional Lighting

Natural sunlight can lift a mood and bring a welcoming spirit into your spaces. Wherever possible, we like to invite natural light into the home to brighten dark bathrooms, kitchens, closets and other spaces that don’t usually get enough sunshine. Just as the sun sets each day, intentional interior and exterior lighting will help transition your home’s ambiance and the mood from day into evening.

We look forward to working with you to elevate your home. Please contact us if you are interested in starting a new residential interior design project in Coral Gables, Florida, or surrounding areas with True Designs.
